Breezway Window Systems

Breezway has recently developed a new aluminum energy efficient window called the ios™ window framing system, specifically designed to fit Altair™ Louver Windows. Locally manufactured in Hawaii, the ios™ Window offers strength and durability to the Hawaiian market.

ios™ Window System

Replacing windows with the ios™ Window System is an ideal choice as it is manufactured from strong, corrosion-resistant aluminum for superior performance and long life durability. The ios™ Window can be configured during manufacture so that insect or security screens can be fitted to either the inside or the outside of the window.

Combinations of picture windows and louver bays are possible within the ios™ Window System and are popular in homes, resorts, government buildings, etc where energy efficient control of the building environment is important.

Other features of the ios™ Window System includes:

• Conforms to performance requirements of the AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-05 standard and the amended International Building Code.
• High quality polyester powder coating or 25 micron anodized finishes which is 7 microns higher than Class 1 (A4) of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association standard AAMA 611-98.
• A variety of size, color and blade options are available to suit the ios™ Window System.
• The versatile frame depth and removable nail on fins suit most construction types.
• UV stabilized inside screen slide handle available when internal screening methods are required.
• Altair™ Louvers snap into the ios™ Window resulting in no visible screw holes and quicker assembly.
• Available fully assembled and ready for installation, thereby reducing on-site labor costs.

Makani™ Window System

Custom designed for Altair™ Louvers, the Makani™ Window System is a fully assembled framing option that can replace the Breezway Strip Hardware offer. The Makani™ Window is locally manufactured from strong, corrosion-resistant materials for high performance and long life durability.

Other features of the Makani™ Window System include:

• Altair™ Louvers snap into the Makani™ Window resulting in no visible screw holes and quicker assembly.
• Available fully assembled and ready for installation, thereby reducing on-site labor costs.
• High quality polyester powder coating or 25 micron anodized finishes to provide a strong, durable framing option for years of trouble-free operation.
• A variety of sizes, colors and blade options available.
• Thin frame depth and removable nail on fins for installation in various applications (including doors, existing wood framing etc).

Please note, the Makani™ Window System cannot be screened directly into the frame. A Build-out system is required (and is supplied by others).

Altair Powerlouvre™ Window System

The Altair Powerlouvre™ Window has been specifically designed within the aluminum Easyscreen™ Window System with space in the head of the frame to house Powerlouvre™ motors.
